I don’t know where everyone else is what the high ranges but for women pig I would say like 500 to 600 dollars a high range whereas 300 to three fifty is the low range I know in places like Toronto and vancouver microblading training near me, they can charge seven fifty two thousand for certain services, so it’s all depending on what area you’re in but if you want to get your high-end you should be like a master what you’re doing which means like you feel confident somebody comes in with an issue or the heel, weird or you need to know how to troubleshoot a correct you have to know how to deal with that because if you’re at a loss and you can’t answer that you’re not at a point where you’re microblading eyebrows near me.You’re able to charge that amount of money that people want to feel confident coming to you and whatever happens to them, you have to be able to like give them guidance on necessary steps that need to happen. Yeah right, yeah anybody have another question.Stop.Well, just open the floor.Okay, so there are no questions, I’ll ask a bunch of questions that like a Brazilian I’m so do you wanna tell us about when you when you were just a solo primer and you were a one woman operation, how you went from now yeah cause, now we can dump it into your story that since we didn’t get a chance to do that, um, oh somebody’s asking a question in the chat, so I’ll ask mine and then read one chat a little.Yeah talk to us about when you were a one woman show and to when you were making that job to get your first space so you were at your business in that moment, how did you know that it was necessary stomachache.Yeah that’s a great question so every step that I took in my business to go to the next step I ensured that my schedule was fully booked that I had a bit of a wait list going that you know I had the clientele there to support myself to make those moves because I wasn’t fully booked I wasn’t able to support myself or reinvest in my business, then I wouldn’t have been ready to take that next step in business, so with whatever you’re doing I always say, take baby steps because if you don’t take baby steps and you try to do a major jump like oh I just got my certificate, oh I have to open up my shop and do this well you’re not really validating the market you’re not seeing if people know you are getting comfortable or becoming an authority in the space so it’s really important to establish yourself build a client list and then start to move up slowly and the slower and more, um.I guess Russia calculated that you do it the better it will be long term.Question nine can I marry saw, can I piggyback off that question. So I’m kind of in a spot right now where I’m A I work full time or full-time job career and I’m getting into the PM you industry and so I just started a couple months ago and it’s been difficult but I’m starting to see some results, um through the advertising that I’ve been doing with marcel’s help, um so it’s good and I’m getting excited about it, but I also don’t want to get too excited about it and just start to think that you know I can leave my job and going to you know PM you full-time I mean we’ve all had this conversation before. And thursday it’s a roller coaster right now cause there’s good days there’s bad days like you said so I feel confident some days and I don’t feel like confident like when would you think would be the right time for someone like me to leave their career I know it’s hard.Question to answer, but no that’s a great question because I was also in school and I had to decide whether or not to finish my last year or start my business so you have to like let me know where you’re at in terms of your clients like are you having clients who you have to turn away because you don’t have the time or that available time for them to take them or are you still trying to get more clients. I definitely still trying.Get more clients I I see about on average like two to three clients a week but those could include touch UPS as well, um, I’m not completely I don’t feel like I’m in a position where I’m booked, you know for my and I’m only available on saturdays and sundays, so I have limited time too, so that could be the reason why I have to turn some people away and say well my next available appointment is Mid December at this point and.Um, but, um, so I don’t know if I can even like really say that you know I’m I’m at that stage but um I definitely feel like if I opened up my time or I could definitely get more clients because I’m limiting myself, is there any days during the week like monday to friday in the evenings that you picked open up. Unfortunately, no cause I work in a different city like my fault like my business is in a different city, even my full-time career job that makes it a bit difficult, yeah that’s a difficult thing because if they’re if this is really where you want to take your yourself like full time, then I would start to position yourself where you can actually start to open up more time whether that be you know doing it in the same city or you know figuring out how you can maybe get a different full time job that will help support those hours are like slowly start to back yourself out of a full time position to get you in Ethiopia new full-time because if you’re not giving yourself the opportunity or the availability for your clients you’re never gonna know right because if your clients like oh I can’t get in with her until Mid December, well like that I wanna get mine done before Christmas, I’m gonna go to this person down the street right so you might be losing clients because of that so it’s really up to you like like how you want to configure your life too.To say okay, this is the road I actually want to go, and this is going to be my full-time thing eventually but I’m going to position myself today to make sure that I can slowly back myself out of it.Okay, yeah I hope that inspired you a little bit to get your right great, thank you, awesome, good alright so chandra eyes, she’s also in edmonton she’s in spruce grosso she’s asking, what’s your best way of marketing right now.Oh that is a great question because it kind of changes yearly actually so when I first started my business best marketing was word of mouth, so I actually started when I first started off I did a bunch of free services like everyone that I could get in maybe ten people like I’ve limited myself and said I had to choose ten people who are really going to talk highly about me love this service and those ten people are gonna tell they even tell one person that ten other people that I you know what I mean so.Word of mouth when you’re first starting out like if you guys honestly, just take out your phones right now go through your contact list and ask every single person in your phone, hey do you know anyone who needs PM you services not asking them if they need PM new services but do you know anyone who needs them. You might be surprised who starts to refer you and who starts to like pass on your name like oh yeah she says PM you now so you’re putting that in the heads of people and you’re now pushing yourself out in a way that isn’t pushy so that word of mouth is number one now when it comes to social media and different platforms.Instagram is a huge one because it’s very photo based unlike results base so that’s a very good platform to start building your clientele on A I think there’s really cheap advertising on Instagram right now Facebook is a really great resource it all just depends on your demographic and what you’re looking for because that’s going to really target your marketing, so when you get clear about who you want to market to how you want to market that’s when everything’s gonna become clear where you each market so I’ve gotten to a point where I started off with word of mouth and moves like Instagram Facebook a little bit of interest here and there and then eventually moving into Youtube and those different platforms because it’s more educational and people want to sit and watch and learn things and see how things are done so once you get to a point where you’re stable and you can start creating more content around that you’ll slowly start to build in different platforms and I think you should be on all of them, but the most important one is creating a. Email list and I’m sure marcel has talked to you with this, because if Facebook goes away if Instagram goes away, you don’t own that so you don’t know who’s on there if you have 6000 people, they could be gone tomorrow, but you own your email list, so make sure that you start creating and compiling email email as soon as you possibly can yeah exactly so ponder actually has a nice a hefty a hefty e-mail list, she’s not she’s just been sitting on it, she’s gonna start you know taking and sending out campaign things get moving, yeah all right do any other further questions with petty danielle.Have an open Mike any other questions girls.MHM.But then, yeah. Hi, hello, how are you, I’m good, how are you, my daughter has a fever, so I haven’t been saying much I got her to sit down for a few minutes how a so since we’re on the subject of marketing.Do you post to each I’m like social media email like which do you rotate them out because I struggle to be consistent because honestly I just don’t like. You’re doing social media posts because when you say that about hiring somebody to do that I was like that is so smart I never got it because I really don’t like it totally and that’s OK, because now you know who you are and what you want to be putting out there and how to put it so when it comes to social media yeah you gotta be consistent with this but each platform requires you to do different things, so um, for instance, what does really well on Facebook might not do well on Instagram and vice versa, so, um, that’s where you know we can get really in-depth into this whole marketing thing and trying different things that’s called ab testing so you can try a video and a photo and then you can go on and look at your analytics and see what does better and then you can see what your audience specifically resonates with because every audience is going to be different and then you can start creating content around what is really sticking, so if you have Instagram or if you have Facebook go back on.And the posts that do really well for you see what you think is interesting to your audience about it and then you can start creating content around okay and what about Google ads do you use those yeah optimizing is really important on your website, having your seo done properly, but if you are doing all of your platforms correctly and you’re putting valuable content out for your clients like value is when I go and I learn something from so when you post a before and after, are you talking about what’s done why it was done what you use, that’s what people really want to know and so when you provide value to those people they’ll show up again because they want to learn you optimizing on Google ads or your website or any of z the more keywords that you use that are all in sync, the more and more people are clicking on Google adwords will start to recognize this. Like keywords and that’s when it starts to push you up in the search engines so they all work together okay, thank you you’re welcome. So, um, thank you Daniel for that question, so something that would actually caught my attention from you a nirvana and the beginning was your your feed the browse by g fee was so aspirational so beautiful so I’m just so perfect and you know taking advantage of the fact that Instagram is such a immediately visual platform in this form of grey, you can see nine different squares a straight off the BAT and it gives you a all encompassing image of what the space is like in just those nice squares right, um, and they were all very cohesive like they all worked with one another very whitish minimalist kind of like the background that you have right now you know nice tidy and it was just a really appealed to me as and I assumed also my own demographic women, you know around this age, all that, um.And I realized I started looking through it was like oh my god, this is so beautiful, like how do I what, what makes it so beautiful and so I started going through your pictures, and I realized you had, um like models command, you are doing I I understood that you were hiring a marketing agency to come in and take pictures and everything for your business so that was an initial investment as well right on your part absolutely, and when it comes to investing in your business like that’s a major part for me is like the aesthetic and because I’m.Like one of the core things that I wanted to get across my clientele with a luxury service like I need to post luxury photos right to get that feel a clean white like high-end like that was the aesthetic I was going for, so when I bring in models like I wanted to bring in like you don’t need to pay a lot when you’re first starting like that first set that I did like if you look back over two years ago like I hired a photographer to come in and take like really editorial shots of models which did really well at the time, but now if I were to post those photos they wouldn’t do really well because people want to see more in the moment and like realistic and what they’re going to expect right not just this unattainable. Thanks so I’ve really changed kind of throughout the process with the ebb and flow of what people were um.I guess resonating with at the time so that’s really important to keep an eye on it because if you don’t then you’re just gonna keep creating the same content that might look pretty but it’s not hitting with your customers right, so there’s a way that you can create pretty but still give value give you know give them a information at the same time. Missouri.Yeah, but yeah hiring a marketing person a that came this, um last year I hired a full-time marketing person, so she is my brand manager which means she keeps the brand consistent and so, um, if you do hire somebody you want to make sure that they have that understanding of how to pick your brand colors, pick your font, pick your color scheme and ensure that your full brand is consistent. Now that you know now that’s a bit more attainable, we have Canada and you can just be very very conscientious of keeping it consistent, you don’t necessarily need it, if you don’t have it at this point, it is attainable.I wanted to say so. A gee I want to bring attention to what you just said you know that was last year that you brought on Martha a branding manager or marketing, a marketing manager, you’ve been in business for about six years and that just happened a year ago so with that excellent touch on the patient’s right, a building of business, we all want immediate results, we all do like we all want to have a million Dollar five.Right, um, it’s taken you six years years, yeah and and of a lot of work and near exhaustion, you have to take breaks from a you know not not burning yourself out, so just wanted to touch on that because it’s important to remember that Rome was not built in a day and it really takes time.Totally it’s it’s definitely a long game in this in this industry, it’s not something that is going to happen overnight and a you’re always going to be constantly changing and evolving in the industry, it basically. It’s like that as well like the PM you industry that I knew when I first started is completely different to the PM new industry I know today, so just be patient with that I had a few questions on the side here, how long did it take you to fill up your schedule, once you commit to building your new business full time, how long did it take you before you are ready to open up a commercial space, great question so my first year, um.I rented a small room, um out of like a small, um, aesthetics, place, and I started there until I started taking clients in between my classes while I was in business school and I got to a place where I was so booked and like people they had a weightless going of people that I was like okay I need to like do this full-time so as soon as you feel like you’re busting at the seams, it means like you’re coming out of your shell and you need to like.Grow into the next phase, so the thing is like when you feel it you’ll know when your numbers are coming in your clients are coming in and you’re busting at the seams, it means that it’s time to move up, um.And basically I’d say it took me about a year to really feel confident to step out and do my new business full-time where at that time I had to decide between finishing in college and stepping out and doing it and college is always going to be there, but the opportunity to start a business.
